Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a new role-playing game from Capcom. In spirit she is reminiscent of other representatives of the genre Skyrim or Dragon Age, but at the same time has its own unique features. And it can be made even better with custom tweaks. In this article we have collected the best mods for the game and told you how to install them.
At the time of writing, no major mods have emerged that would add a ton of new content to Dragon’s Dogma 2. Most of the modifications are aimed at correcting the shortcomings of the original game: making the interface more convenient, changing the camera angle, adding the ability to purchase consumables in unlimited quantities, and so on. In addition, the first mods have appeared that improve graphical optimization.
Install mods on Dragon’s Dogma 2
- Download the mod manager Fluffy Mod Manager.
- Install it anywhere on your hard drive.
- Start the program and select the game Dragon’s Dogma 2.

It is also useful to remove mods via the manager. If the change is installed differently, we will leave instructions in the description.
Adjustments to optimize Dragon’s Dogma 2
We have collected in this section all the mods related to optimizing the game.
Mod for NVIDIA owners
If you have an NVIDIA video card, use the adjustment “DLSS Scaling 3.7.0”. Just download it and extract it to your game folder. By default, it is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragons Dogma 2.
Mod for AMD owners
If your computer has an AMD video card, pay attention to the modification “AMD FSR 3 Support”. To install, copy the files with it to the folder with Dragon’s Dogma 2. First you need to start the game, open the graphics settings and activate the TAA option.
Mod to increase FPS
To increase the number of frames (FPS) while visiting cities, use the adjustment DD2 CPU Priority – Free Fps at City and Towns. Unzip the archive, run the file and select the Run function. Once completed, you will need to restart your computer.
NPC removal mod
If this method doesn’t help, you can take more drastic measures and remove all NPCs around you. After this, the load on the processor is guaranteed to decrease. The No NPC mod is launched using a regular modification manager.
We talked about other ways to increase optimization in Dragon’s Dogma 2 in a separate article.
HD texture revisions – improved graphics with new textures
A set of high-resolution textures for character faces, clothes, monsters, armor and weapons. This allows you to make the photo more detailed.
Simple realistic 3D for Dragon Dogma 2 – image enhancement thanks to ReShade technology
Thanks to shaders, the game looks brighter and more realistic. In addition, the image becomes more detailed and the quality of the visual effects increases.
Installation procedure:
- Remove any previous mods that use ReShade technology, if you have them.
- Download the archive with the mod and transfer it to the game folder. By default, it is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragons Dogma 2.
- Start the game.
Mod management:
- Del button — activate or deactivate the change;
- PgDn or PgUp — enable or disable stereoscopic mode;
- End – show the mod interface. Here you can adjust the color saturation, light intensity, brightness and contrast.
Crazy’s Shop – a consumables store
Adds a merchant to the game who sells Awakening Stones, Rift Crystals, Farristoun Stones and more. The range is updated daily. Please note: the author of the mod recommends not purchasing more than 99 items of the same type at a time.
Equipment Shop and Armory – the ability to purchase any weapon and armor in the shop
This change expands the range of goods available to merchants. Once you install it, you can purchase all types of armor and weapons found in the game.

Early n’ Cheap Art of Metamorphosis – the ability to change the appearance and parameters of the character at the very beginning of the passage
Some players have encountered an unexpected difficulty: starting a new character in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is not that easy. And your height and weight parameters directly affect your characteristics. You can change them with the help of the book “The Art of Metamorphosis”. With this mod you can buy it from Melv of Wernworth, one of the first sellers you encounter along the way.
Infinite Non-Combat Stamina – Infinite Non-Combat Stamina
A simple but useful mod that removes the stamina bar as you roam the game’s open world. As long as you haven’t entered battle yet, you can run as long as you want.

Female Nude Mod – naked female characters
A standard nude mod that undresses the main character and all female pawns. The adjustment allows you to adjust the intimate parts of the body and remove scars.
No Spa Censor – uncensored bathing in a hot spring
Another nude mod that only works while swimming. After installation you can see completely naked girls in the hot springs.
Better user interface. Colorful map icons – improved interface
A tweak that changes dimmed interface icons to brighter ones. At first glance the changes seem small, but thanks to them you can quickly navigate through the map, inventory and during the game itself.
Do not be afraid of excess weight – increase the acceptable weight
Adds a Ring of Accumulation to the game, increasing the maximum weight you can carry by a hundred times. The item can be purchased from merchants at the beginning of the passage.
Enemy HP and Damage Increase – Increases enemies health bar
This hardcore mod should appeal to those who found the original game too easy. It increases the difficulty by giving extra health points to local mobs and bosses. Other features remain the same, so battles will be more intense. If desired, you can further increase the damage of all mobs.
Lock-On Combat with Dodge – target the enemy and dodge
A modification that allows you to point the camera at the enemy and, if necessary, dodge his attacks. This will make the battles resemble battles from Dark Souls. In addition, new control settings appear.
NPC’s Hairstyles for Arisen and Pawns – a set of hairstyles for the main character and pawns
This mod expands the customization options in the game with new types of hairstyles, including those you may have seen on NPCs.
Stop selling yourself – pawns stop asking for rent
There’s something annoying about Dragon’s Dogma 2, where unhired pawns come to you and offer their services. After installing the Stop Selling Yourself tweak, potential allies will no longer ask to be hired. But you can always start a dialogue with them and invite them to the team.
Dragonsplague Cure – treating dragon plague at the touch of a button
The Dragon Plague is one of the most unremarkable mechanics in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and one that took many players by surprise. There’s no cure for it – if a pawn gets sick, you’ll have to kill it so it doesn’t ruin your passage. We talked more about the plague in a separate guide. The Dragonsplague Cure mod allows you to heal by pressing a hotkey.
Functional pawns. Guild and Storage – extended pawn functionality
Your pawns will take on the role of in-game guilds, and you’ll be able to use their inventories as full-fledged storage facilities. For example, the head of Medusa the Gorgon will not deteriorate as long as it is in your partner’s possession.
Show favor to all – show the meaning of respect
After installing this mod, next to the character’s name it will indicate how much he respects you.
Heal in time – restore health over time
A simple adjustment that allows you to automatically restore your hero’s vitality scale and all pawns.
Camera over the shoulder and wider field of view (Field of View) – a convenient camera
Moves the camera to the main character’s shoulder and significantly increases the viewing angle.
Teleportation – Simplified Teleportation
The ability to go to any point on the map without spending consumables or using carts.
