Can you drop off packages at UPS Access locations? ›

Our safe and secure location can accept packages for people who aren't able to receive them throughout the day. We offer customers the ability to drop off and pick up packages with ease at our UPS Access Point® location found inside of CVS.

If you want to pick up your package at a UPS Customer Center, your request must be received by 7 p.m. If you're unavailable when UPS attempts delivery at your address, UPS may deliver your package to a UPS Access Point^® location near your home, where your package will be held for you to pick up for 7 calendar days.

UPS SurePost^® is an economy service for your non-urgent, business to consumer needs of low value. UPS makes the shipment pick-up, and the U.S. Postal Service^® (USPS^®) makes the final delivery, seven days a week.

A UPS Access Point is a third-party outlet where you can drop off packages that are going to be handled by UPS. It's an alternative to needing to travel to a designated UPS store. You can also pick up packages from an Access Point if they are delivered there.

With UPS Mail Innovations Returns, your customers can conveniently return their packages using their mailbox, postal carrier, local post office or any postal drop box nationwide. In addition, customers can call the USPS for a free pickup right from their doorstep.

If the shipment doesn't require a signature, our driver will try and find a safe place to leave the shipment to keep it out of plain sight or harmful weather. This may include a front porch, side door, back porch or garage area, among others.

Members have the option to have deliveries brought to a different address, be delivered on a different day or pick up deliveries at a UPS location, as well as tell your UPS driver where to leave packages when you aren't home.

If the package doesn't require a signature, but you're concerned UPS may not leave it for you, you can click the "Provide Delivery Instructions" button at the right side of the details view. Click the "Leave At" box and select a location where you'd like UPS to leave the package.

Can you hold my packages while I'm away? Yes, if you're a UPS My Choice member, The UPS Store and other UPS Access Point locations can hold your package for up to seven calendar days at no additional charge. UPS Customer Centres can hold your package for up to five business days.

When you've completed your shipment, please contact UPS Customer Service at 1-800-782-7892. Select a date and earliest time your shipment will be available for pickup.
