One of the best Chinese meals I've ever had! I had duck pancakes for starters and sweet chilli prawns for main. Both were very delicious and the service was quick and efficient. The prices were reasonable and the house special wines were fantastic with the meals. Definitely will be returning and highly recommend!!

Returned here excitedly after 3 years and in disbelief at how far the standard has fallen.The service was cold and the food was at best as good as an average takeaway. Ate half of my meal and wasn't asked how it was when we finished.The service is discouraging and rude, not asking how the meal was and placing back used cutelery saving its for mains.Not sure what's changed since my last visit but I wont be going back unless there are some serious changes.
A hidden gem of Bury, Zen boasts a great selection of rice, noodle, and soup dishes. Excellent portion sizes and generous amount of meat in each dish. Welcoming staff and very quick service. I'd highly recommend the chicken satay; incredibly creamy, peanuty sauce with perfectly cooked chicken!
