The prosecution and defense both submitted lengthy lists Tuesday morning of potential witnesses they could call in Karen Read’s murder trial, prior to the beginning of jury selection in Norfolk Superior Court.

In the courtroom Tuesday, Judge Beverly Cannone cautioned potential jurors that it’s likely not every witness listed will be called — although she did say the trial is expected to last six to eight weeks.
